Job Description

Our client is a stunning property set within outstanding grounds, star rated and rosette accredited. They are currently recruiting for A Commis Chef to join their highly successful team. This restaurant is renowned for offering only the finest contemporary cuisine, with traditional roots and has become highly regarded by both hotel guests and outside diners for its outstanding service and attention to detail.

The Role:- You will be willing to learn and be committed to high standards; this kitchen is the ideal place in which to develop your skills. You will be working with local fresh produce to create innovative dishes for a seasonal changing menu. You will be preparing food and doing basic cooking, under the supervision of the more experienced chefs. You will also be responsible for maintaining high standards of hygiene, handling deliveries and stock rotation.

Qualification/Experience:- You will require previous experience within a Michelin starred/rosette accredited property. You will also have excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn and progress. You will also require NVQ level 1 & 2 or equivalent qualifications and a food hygiene certificate is essential.
