Job Description
A Senior CDP/Junior Sous is required for this popular Gastro Pub. The position would suit a strong Chef de Partie looking for their next step.
Duties will include:
-Ensuring standards are maintained and bettered at all times
* Motivating and leading the brigade to achieve excellent results
* Developing dishes and menu ideas
* Supporting the Head and Sous chef with ordering, stock control, GPs, costing when required to do so
* Training, coaching and supporting the brigade
* Ensuring Health and Safety legislation is adhered to at all times
* Maintaining the high standards of the establishment and working to enhance the restaurants reputation
* Ensuring the smooth running of the sections and kitchen overall
* Motivating and coaching brigade
* Supporting the kitchen management team in achieving section gross profit and department budget achievement
* Stock control
The ideal candidate will have previous experience within rosette accredited properties or be a professional chef with experience in a gastro property working with fresh food. You need to be a level headed and confident person with the ability to assist leading and motivating the brigade. This exceptional property prides itself on its faultless reputation and incredibly high standards. You will be working with fresh local produce to create exceptional dishes for this superb establishment, whilst maintaining the 2 AA Rosette status. You will be responsible for assisting in running and leading the brigade. All applicants should have previous experience of working in a quality establishment. You will be standards driven with an emphasis on producing cuisine of a high standard. All candidates should have excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop your team.
